#1 Frozen Pink Lemonade + Strawberry Hearts
Virgin (or not) pink lemonade slushy with strawberry hearts—a sweet and tangy treat for adults and kids alike!
Send a DIY macaron kit to somebody with a sweet tooth and they can bake along with the pre-recorded masterclass anytime, or skip the kit and just grab a seat ($35) for your valentine to our LIVE macaron class 2/12!
It’s like an elephant ear—ya know, a buttery, sugary, buttery, buttery, doughy piece of goodness that’s typically the size of your head—but a little easier to make, and a lot better for you. AND it’s guaranteed to delight your sweetheart (whoever that may be).
#4 Bright Lipstick
One of my favorite trends I observed in Paris was women wearing bright (usually red) lipstick with workout clothes and tennis shoes. So pop on a little color, no matter if you’re still in PJs or actually putting on pants today.
#5 A Candlelit Breakfast
Why do we always save candles for nighttime?! Light one (or a few) during breakfast, if for no reason other than to slow yourself down and enjoy a little moment.
Heart marshmallows in your coffee (or hot chocolate, or even matcha) cuz, why wouldn’t you?! I like to blend coffee with a splash of vanilla bean paste and a little coconut oil so it gets frothy. Cut the marshmallow in half crosswise, punch out a heart, then gently brûlée with a kitchen torch for a toasty touch!
#7 Try A New Wine
Go to a local wine shop (our fav in San Francisco is Biondivino) and grab something pink or red you’ve never tried (Lambrusco anyone!?)
#8 Write a Menu
If you’re making dinner for somebody else, take five minutes to type (or handwrite) a menu and hide it somewhere they’ll find it before dinner! Chris did this for me for one of our first Valentine’s Days together and I never forgot it :)
#9 Little Gifts
Valentine’s Day is all about little gifts, notes, and sweet treats. Consider this marble heart board (Williams-Sonoma inspired by our friend Amanda Haas), a box of Frans Gray Salt Caramels (my absolute favorite), Sugarfina sour lips (I’ve loved these since middle school), or a non-toxic candle like this one from Ellis Brooklyn.
