Hummus is one of my all-time favorite snacks. We often buy it, but it's so easy to make at home (and truly the homemade version is so much better!). I've rounded up two of my favorite hummus recipes (one made with roasted cauliflower so it's even healthier than a traditional hummus) and another with Thai red curry that adds a ton of unique flavor.
And if you're just feelin' the store-bought, I included a few ways to make it seem homemade, whether it's just for you to enjoy, or to take to a gathering! Pair any of these hummus dishes with your favorite crudités or pita chips, and you have a gorgeous appetizer. Voila!
Jazzy Hummus
Let’s start with the basic: store bought hummus. I’m in no way opposed to keeping things extra easy and buying good quality, and delicious store bought hummus! If you go this route, don’t be afraid to jazz it up a little. A little olive oil and pink peppercorns turn an ordinary app into a fab one! No one will ever know you didn’t make the whole thing from scratch.
Cauliflower Hummus
This Cauliflower Hummus takes an even healthier route by swapping out the chickpeas for cauliflower! It is a surprising addition but so delicious. I start by roasting the cauliflower for extra flavor before blending it with tahini (I usually get this organic one at Trader Joe’s!), olive oil, lemon, and garlic!
Thai Curry Hummus
This incredibly quick to make snack is sure to become a staple in your house as it is in the Kinder house! It is unbelievably good, easy, and healthy. It is the type of hummus you take to a party and everybody asks, you made this? The curry and coconut add a flavorful twist on your traditional hummus, making this dip irresistible.
